Philip Isley's Eagle Project

The Eagle Scout Project for Philip Isley took place at the entrance to the Mount Memorial Cemetery, located on the William Jewel College Campus. The dates for the project included both Saturday, June 10th, and Saturday, June 17th, and the hours ran from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Day 1, scouts and adults alike helped to construct stone garden walls, as well as landscape the areas, on both sides of the entryway. Finally, on Day 2, mulch and plants were added, as well as a stone bench on one side of the entryway. 
Workers were provided with donuts for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and plenty to drink. Also, while the weather remained its usual nasty Missouri heat, the work area was, for the most part, nice and shady on both days. Thanks and appreciation go out to all of the scouts and adult leaders from Troop 376 who came and helped Philip in this endeavor.
