Directions to
Smithville Lake:
Travel north on 291 to A Highway. Turn right (north), travel 7 miles on
A Highway to Highway 92.
At the junction of highway 92 turn left (west)
Travel 1.8 miles to E highway and turn right (north)
Follow that road 2.9 miles to the Camp Branch sign (Collins Road) and
turn right
Travel 2.5 miles to the Kelsey Short Camp area, on your right. |

| Tour permits are needed for overnight camping only |
| Adults are not allowed to assist the patrols in competition. |
| Troops are encouraged to bring an elevated fire barrel to reduce damage |
| Camping is available - Friday 4:00 p.m. - Sunday 10:00 a.m. Units camping a second night need to fill out a form at the entrance gate and pay $1 per person. Forms are in drop box at the entrance gate. Checks ONLY. |
| Two Deep Leadership is required, as per National Boys Scouts of America Policy. |
