DIRECTIONS to CAMP OUT

Take Highway 152 west approximately 23 miles, pass I-35, past I-435, past highway 169, past I-29 to I-435 south.
Exit onto highway I-435 south.
Take I-435 south into Kansas approximately 11 miles, over the river, past the KC Speedway exit, and take the Kansas Turnpike (I-70) exit west. Get your ticket at the toll booth on I-70.
Stay on I-70 Kansas Turnpike approximately 29 miles until you see the Lawrence exits. You will take the third Lawrence exit, exit 197 on the west side of Lawrence to Lecompton & Perry Lake. At the toll booth, pay your money and turn right at stop sign.
At the next stop sign, turn left on Douglas County 1850 Road. Go one-half mile and turn right on to gravel road. After one-half mile turn right at "T" intersection. Make an immediate right into the pasture gate.
 

We'll meet at the church at 7 am Saturday morning. 
We'll return to the church at noon on Sunday.
First year scouts will assist in building survival shelters and work on scout skills from the handbook. First year scouts and first year adults who attend will sleep in tents. Older scouts and second year adults will build, and sleep in, survival shelters.
All scouts and adult leaders should bring work clothes and work gloves to work on the conservation projects at the campsite.

Mr. Goertz will coordinate food for those fathers of first year scouts who are camping.
