Fish's Strawberry Cherry Cobbler
Ingredients:
21 oz Cherry Pie filling - 2 cans
21 oz Strawberry Pie filling - 1 can
18.25 oz package white or yellow cake mix
1/4 stick butter
1/2 cup slivered almonds
Pam non-stick spray
18" heavy duty aluminum foil
cinnamon
Put aluminum foil in bottom of 12" Dutch Oven. Spray foil with non-stick spray. Dump cherry and strawberry filling in dutch oven. Mix cake mix per instructions. Pour cake mix gently over top of fruit filling in Dutch Oven. Cut pads of butter and place on top of cake mix. Sprinkle almonds over cake mix. Sprinkle some cinnamon over cake mix. Cover and bake for 40 minutes or until top is browned and bubbling.
Use 8 coals on the bottom and 16 coals on the top. Serve and top with whipped cream.
Extra ingredients could be placed in clean tuna fish can covered with aluminum foil and baked in coals.
