LOAF ON A STICK
1 cup cornflakes
1 pound hamburger
1 egg
½ onion (chopped)
2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon mustard
Crush the cornflakes and mix together with remaining ingredients. Wrap a small quantity of this mixture around the end of a stick, making it long instead of into a round ball. Wrap foil around the meat and part of the stick to prevent meat from falling into the coals. Place it over a bed coals, turning slowly to cook evenly.
Makes about seven drumsticks. Serves 3 to 4
