Troop 376 has been a long-time part of the Liberty, Missouri community. We are fortunate to have the support and Charter through East Clay County Rotary Club. The Troop conducts monthly campouts (come rain or shine), attends H.Roe Bartle Scout Reservation each summer, regularly fields high-adventure trips - plus are active in the Liberty and surrounding community through fund raising, volunteer work and Eagle projects.
We hold weekly Troop meetings and monthly leader Committee meetings.Troop 376 is unique in several ways. First, we are one of the few Troops in the nation to actively participate in both Mic-O-Say and the Order of the Arrow. Troop 376 scouts and leaders hold various positions in each of these special, extracurricular Scouting organizations. Second, we are charted and organized as a Scout led Troop. Meaning boy leaders, with the guidance of the Scout Master, plan, organize and conduct all Troop activities. This structure provides a unique opportunity for boys to develop leadership and organizational skills not always available via Scouting or other extracurricular activities.
Last, and most importantly, Troop 376 regularly graduates a number of Eagle Scouts - the highest ranking in Scouting. Reaching Eagle is a great accomplishment. We are product of our Eagle Scouts and strive to push as many boys and young adults to this goal as possible. If you are new to Scouting, a Cub Scout or just interesting in learning more about Troop 376, we invite you to attend one of our meetings.
